These little speakers will rock you from side to side, and top to bottom. These are definitely one of the best Ipod speakers I’ve reviewed, and can also be used with other MP3 devices or laptop computers. In addition to cranking out great sounding audio for portable speakers, they are also very sleek, sexy and come in a variety of colors to suite your taste (red, black, and white in a matte finish). The sounds are deep, broad, and full.
With a small twist of each unit these speakers pop open to reveal the patented accordion-like bass expansion system (which X Mini calls BXSTM) which successfully mimics the resonance of a sub woofer. You don’t have to use both speakers at the same time, but after using both at once, I highly doubt anyone would want to use just one at a time. These speakers are small, weigh very little, and with magnets on the bottom of each unit connect together to form and egg sort of shape for traveling.

Depending on the color I was able to find them between $30-40.
